A quick sketch from a photograph of a girl spotted in Edinburgh who was advertising the Confusion is Sex show.

Fur Coat and Party Shoes
This morning on the train there were two naughty little girls dressed up in fancy clothes. They admired each others shiny shoes before spending the rest of the journey glued to the train window.
Lady with Oasis Bag
I was sneaking looks at this lady opposite me and as I drew her she became more glamorous than in real life. I liked her new look so much I decided not to correct it.
Cold Day, Grey Duffel-Coat
It was forecast to snow today but it was actually quite warm. Everybody was dressed for the bad weather, including this chap who was wearing a toasty duffel coat.

iPad Sketchbook tomfoolery
Trevor uploaded a new drawing app for me to play with. It is pretty good as it looks like a sketchbook. I drew him telling me off for dragging the metal bit of the stylus on the screen. I keep forgetting it is not like a pencil!
Train Experiment
I wanted to try and draw the whole interior of the train. The inherent problem with trains, though, is that people invariably get off. In this case, quite soon after I started drawing.
Serious Phonecall
This chap was in the studio opposite mine, deeply engrossed in his telephone call. I felt a little guilty after I drew him as he looked quite sad when he hung up.

The Man with the Crucifix Ring
I was quite fascinated by this man who had two gold rings. The one on his second finger was Jesus on the cross, wrapped around the finger. I thought he may have been reading the bible but it was actually a novel called 'Blue Blood'.

Girl with Leopard Print Scarf
I fancied this girl for a sketch so I made a point of sitting somewhere so that I could get a good view. In the sea of dark office clothing and tracksuits she stood out like a beacon.

Man with the green bag
Sleeping people are always the best to draw because they don't move much and they don't notice you drawing them!
